Keep the heart of our Movement beating
If you’ve made it to this page, it’s likely you’ve read the email sent by Rory and learned about how vital humanitarian workers are right now. It also means you’re considering helping us – thank you.
You’ll have seen the news about major conflicts that rage on in places like Gaza, Ukraine and Sudan. But there are so many other emergencies that don’t make the headlines. Right now, we’re seeing the highest number of armed conflicts since the World Wars – making life unbearable for millions.
With teams in 191 countries, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is doing everything possible to help people living through unimaginable conflict. It’s challenging work, but it keeps people safe, gives them back their dignity and – ultimately – saves lives. But it’s something we can’t do alone. And as humanitarian needs grow, so must our response – that’s where you come in.
Anything you can spare today could help people whose lives have been shattered by conflicts and disasters.
Donations can help save lives
As you read in our email, our powerful principle of neutrality means we can reach people others can’t. When disaster hits, our teams are often the first to respond, as they’re already within the communities they support. It’s a unique strength of our worldwide humanitarian network.
And it’s your generosity that enables us to be there. Whether that’s the ambulance rushing someone to hospital after they’ve been caught up in conflict, the physiotherapy they’re given to help start their recovery, or support to rebuild their life once they’ve returned home. Every donation makes a difference to the people who rely on us.
Please stand with our staff and volunteers around the world. Please help people who are suffering right now.
